A famous aviator makes a historic flight over the Pacific Ocean. After one last radio message, she and her plane disappear. A silent, empty ship is found adrift off the coast of Spain. The crew is never seen again. A strange man in a business suit hijacks a jet, then parachutes into the darkness. The only clue the hijacker leaves is an old canvas bag. Three convicts break out of a notorious prison. But their tracks end at the edge of a black icy bay. Is there a logical explanation for all these disappearances? Or did these people simply vanish?
