A photographic anthology

A photographic collection take from contemporary publications of their day, enhanced where possible but retaining actual, or near translations, of the original texts and weekly News Reports, detailing stories that appeared in the European press at the same time.

The selection reflects the perception of life in Europe in the early years of the twentieth century. We include participants from across the globe. Although the nations involved have sometimes been overlooked, these images will provide a salient reminder.
